Common questions about enrolling
Do I need to complete the modules in order?
The course is designed so each module builds on the previous one, but you can jump to the section most relevant to your current situation. If you are in the middle of a hiring process right now, the job post and working interview modules will be immediately useful even without completing earlier sections.
Is this course about employment law?
No. This course does not provide legal advice on any employment matter. It focuses on the practical, operational side of hiring and retention — how to write job posts, structure interviews, onboard new hires, and build a culture that reduces turnover. For legal questions, consult a qualified employment attorney in your state.
How much time does each module take?
Each module is designed to be completed in one to two focused hours. The accompanying worksheets will take additional time as you apply them to your specific business. Most owners complete the full course over two to three weeks while working through their regular schedule.
Is this course relevant if I only have a small crew?
The material applies whether you have two technicians or twenty. In fact, the processes taught in this course are often more important for smaller operations, where a single departure has an outsized impact on the business. Smaller teams also benefit more from having a clear onboarding plan because there is less organizational buffer to absorb a bad hire.
